Pokemon Y is set to release in November in the Americas and Europe. Throughout the game, the player battles other trainers in various regions collects items and Pokémon and ultimately completes a grand quest to become the best Trainer in the world. After choosing their starter, the player must choose two others to battle with them and become friends. The player assumes the role of a new trainer and starts their journey by choosing one of three starter Pokémon: Squirtle, Bulbasaur, or Charmander. It was released on October 12, 2013, for the Nintendo 3DS.
